Editing Blog

We filmed some great clips and we liked the looks of them. We were figuring out how to edit it and where to edit it. We were figuring out where to edit it and Jacob has used many other apps before but we decided to just use I movie. Then we were deciding how to edit the clips but some of them were not up to par so we had to go back and film some more scenes. There was a good amount of clips so it took a while to finish editing. We took a few breaks because it took a while to finish it. We got water and food and we were editing it all. While editing it we were having fun and laughing about the scenes because we are funny guys. Jacob was the main editor because he is the best with the technology stuff. Me and max helped out with some editing. However Jacob was the one doing the most editing but we were telling him what to edit. There were some smooth transitions that we made that we were proud of. We had to make sure the audio was crisp so we made sure to mute the original volume. a...

The  process  of  filming  was  long  and  rough.  Owing  to  the  recent  weather,  all  of  us  were  cold  and  freezing  during  the  filming.  We  all  managed,  though  to  pull  through  and  get  it  done.  With  all  the  pieces  needing  to  be  accurate,  this  project  was  by  far  the  most  difficult  one  to  film.  There  were  many  trials  and  failed  scenes  we  had  to  go  through.  The  end  result  gave  us  just  what  we  were  hoping  and  dreaming  for.  And  both  of  us  being  tired  at  the  end  of  it  and...

Story Board Blog

With this storyboard, we tried to be as thorough as possible. We couldn't mess up here with this being really important. The storyboard is one of the main things we needed for the filming process. We tried to include all of the surroundings we had as much as possible. With the location, we were giving to film. We had permission to film and shoot our music video here. We tried planning everything out how we thought it would go. With the script, we had a very clear idea of what to do with the music video. This was super important for us to follow. we tried to include a lot of what we had and were given. The people include were of our choice because we knew they could lighten up the music video which is exactly what we needed. We absolutely had fun making the storyboard. The setting for the music video was also super important for the theme. This was also one of the hardest projects we had to do. I don't think we could have done this at all without everyone included. With the sc...

In Hip-hop genre music videos there are generally many varied camera angles. For example low angle shots that show the artists' power among the audience and the viewers. while the camera is showing them at a low angle the artist has the whole frame to themselves showing that it belongs to them giving them the power of the scene. There are also very many close-up shots in hip-hop music videos. Close-up shots could show the importance of the artist to the views by them being the only thing in the frame. in many other hip hop music videos, they implement a crowd dancing as if the crowd is dancing to the new song and enjoying it. Which could get the viewers hype and even like the song even more. This gives the song more credibility to whatever the song may be about. Another thing could be attire and what the artist wear. What the artist wear can show how their personality is. Or can complement the song by wearing what the song might be about. Artists could wear anything they want. T...

The title of the song my group will be using is "Gods Plan" I think it will fit well with the video. Some props we may use in the video can include hats, fake gold chains, footballs, and sporting equipment. I am trying to get the props to go along with a teenager vibe. I want the aesthetic to look like a few teens playing sports and having fun in the pool while drinking soda. We will be wearing bathing suits with gold chains on and some of us may have hats. This will give the video a beachy/pool vibe. That is exactly what I'm looking for a good vibe, these costumes will definitely produce that. We will be filming the video on November 22nd. After that, we will then edit the video on November 23rd after we get all the files imported on my computer. The location will be at my friend Darrow's house. We will use his pool to our advantage and include him in the video. His pool is the perfect spot for a video of this theme. It will definitely match the vibe I'm looki...

Introduction to the Music Video Project

Image
I heard we had a new project to work on in media and it was a music video. We had to do a music video so I asked my friends if any of them had AICE media and some of them did. My friend Max Siska who I had no idea he had this class and he wanted to work with me. I knew he was a good person to work with because I am pretty close friends with him and I know he can be creative. My other friend was Jacob Beach. He is another one of my close friends and I know he has a good work ethic when he wants to. We were looking for more people to work with but unfortunately we could not find another group member but its ok. I feel confident about the outcome of this project because they are smart kids. Max is a funny guy and he will add some good points to add and make the video funny. Jacob is a smart guy and he can definitely handle the editing and tech part. So I like this crew. We were thinking for a while about song choices and there were a few in our mind. However there was one that came t...

on Friday, October 30 I started filming my iPhone commercial. It started off with planning and trying to figure out a good spot to fill. Everything was coming together fine and I knew what shots to get and what to film. as the director I had to make sure everything was perfect finding backgrounds and making sure there is no background noise was a big part of this commercial. I found a blanket that I could use as a background for a few clips and I also use many other props like a water gun to put water droplets on the iPhone. once I got all that together it started I used a separate iPhone to film. I took videos of the phone. I took videos of the design. And I took videos of the capabilities and apps. This took time to get the shot right and many attempts. I had to make sure that everything was in the right place so it wouldn’t ruin the commercial at one point I had to flip the phone over and I thought that my hand would be in it but it wasn’t dare where are some really good parts ...
