Filming blog

on Friday, October 30 I started filming my iPhone commercial. It started off with planning and trying to figure out a good spot to fill. Everything was coming together fine and I knew what shots to get and what to film. as the director I had to make sure everything was perfect finding backgrounds and making sure there is no background noise was a big part of this commercial. I found a blanket that I could use as a background for a few clips and I also use many other props like a water gun to put water droplets on the iPhone. once I got all that together it started I used a separate iPhone to film. I took videos of the phone. I took videos of the design. And I took videos of the capabilities and apps. This took time to get the shot right and many attempts. I had to make sure that everything was in the right place so it wouldn’t ruin the commercial at one point I had to flip the phone over and I thought that my hand would be in it but it wasn’t dare where are some really good parts and my personal favorite was the water droplet shot which is the third clip in my commercial. The iPhone had to be put at an angle in front of a light so the water droplets could be seen correctly. This took a few attempts but I liked the outcome filming this was not the easiest thing but with more practice I’m sure I could get good at it. The setting was perfect and my plan A had no mouth functions and it all worked out. I hope you like my commercial.
