How does our product use or challenge conventions? Now, this is a very good question. There are many ways that our video has used and challenge conventions. There are many reasons why we have used and challenged these conventions. While making our video we knew we had to be creative because that's how music videos are. So we knew we needed to be as creative as possible, which means that we had to think of many ideas for the music video. This was not the easiest process and it was quite complicated because we knew that we had to get it all right. So we brainstormed for a while and thought of many ideas. Some of the ideas were not so good but some of them were. We thought of many ideas, some of them had to do with jumping in a pool, some of them had to do with jumping on a trampoline, but they were all creative and needed to carry them out. We had many other ideas, but some of them didn't end up working out because of the setting. There were also many other reasons why some of our ideas were not as good as we planned them out to be. A few more examples of ideas we had were stuff like crazy transitions and many other ideas like flipping into the pool and stuff like that. This was not able to happen because some of the plans did not work out. But we still did a very creative project and it came out very well. Our music video is a well-made music video that is up to par with real music videos. We obviously didn't have the same tools as other music videos may have had, but still made the best out of what we had and it ended up looking really good. This is what we were going for and we nailed it. There's not too much that we could have changed and we had fun during the process. In fact, we created a new way of filming at the end of the scene showed the scenery that we were shooting in karma and that is not something you see too often. The music video was quite professional in my opinion. As you can see we challenged many conventions in the music video industry and we like the product.

How did our music video represent social groups or issues? There are many ways that our music video represented social groups and issues. The song God's plan in itself has an amazing message that message is no matter where you come from you can always make something amazing out of yourself. It also shows that doing good things in the community is always good to do and good things will come back to the people that deserve it. God's plan may seem like a simple song but it is really deeper than that. It has to do with all the issues that many people have to deal with. Including poverty and many other issues that people may have to deal with throughout life. But you always have to come through and stay strong and it is important to remember that in your everyday life. Whether or not you are listening to the song God's plan if you have motivation in life. and you always need to stay strong. Mental strength is one of the most important things in life and god's plan is a great example of how to express that and in the actual gods plan music video you can see how inspirational it is. We also represented all the students in our school. This goes to Cambridge so we had to make sure it was in an amazing music video. We need to make sure that we kept a good lookup for Fort Lauderdale high school and that's why we put so much effort into it. There is a lot that came with the music video and it is very important to remember everyone that has helped you in life. In our music video, we show all the diversity that there is, and we also show help everyone can have fun in life and it doesn't always have to be so serious. We represented this by being hype in having a good vibe during the whole video. It is important to have a good vibe in life, because if you're always down then you will never succeed. And if you don't have a good vibe with everything then you're going to be miserable. This video showed that there are so many reasons to have a good vibe and keeping a good vibe is so important. There were many other things represented in this video that I could go on and on about. Everything about this video meant something to me And it is important that we got a good message out to everyone who sees it. We had a great time filming this and I'm glad that we had it as a project. It really showed me that songs are more than just music it's about giving a message and making sure that people perceive it the right way and that is the most important part of our music video and we made sure that we represented that. This was so inspirational and it really helped me understand the meaning behind music not only our music video but all music perceives a message and I thought this was great. 

How does our music video engage the audience? The audience is able to connect with our music video because the origin of our song comes from a good deed done by Drake. In the original music video, Drake gave out a lot of money and was buying groceries for the people in need. This shows as a whole that the government is inadequate to help the people. This forces our own people to help each other out. Then eventually we can not help each other out because there will be a point when people will care about trying to help each other or run out of money. So what should happen for the future is maybe the government sets up a plan for the poor. This could definitely make an impact on what happens for the future of America. This type of music is also better for the audience to connect to because this is the music of the new generation. the kids nowadays all like drake and I felt Drake doing good things is definitely a good way to get attention to the problem. Not to mention the music video looks pretty nice and of good quality. That is definitely something that'll help a lot these days. All the kids look for that are around my age is a nice quality cool looking music video to seek their attention. Knowing that we take a nice high-quality video with cool transitions to get attention. 

This video can be distributed as a real media text by putting it on YouTube. There are many other websites and apps that we could put our music videos on. YouTube is one of the biggest ones and it is a great example YouTube has helped many people get famous in making lots of money while we're not trying to make any money off of this YouTube video, it would still be a great platform for it to be noticed. It could also go on many other apps. a new app called tick-tock that is blowing up would be a great platform for this music video to go on I think many people would like it in it has the potential of going viral. This video has many parts that are funny and creative and those are the key parts to making a video go viral. Are these things like twitch and other sites for videos would be great too. However, YouTube or tick-tock would be the best way to get our video out there. There are so many ways to get big on those apps. and it is just a great way to start off your content. If for some reason that video did do well then we may rethink creating more. And you never know where that can lead you to. the Internet is a crazy place and many things can happen and you never know what will happen to you. There are so many ways to get your information out there and you just have to explore and research a little deeper. Always stay hopeful and never give up on your dreams, for one day one thing may happen to you and the next something else could happen. You never know where stuff could lead you and it is important to stay strong. Those were some great ways to get our information out there.

My group's production skills definitely enhanced a lot throughout this project. We learned a lot about editing especially transitions in between clips. We also had to do a lot of matching the song lyrics with our lips movement. This is what took a while for us because it was hard to match them. We had to cut and tweak the video depending on if it looked right or not. There were some issues when we were editing and completing this video. We had to look many things up on youtube to figure out how to do some of these skills. It was definitely a lot of hard work but I'm glad we got to learn about the editing process of a music video. Also, the transitions made during the process were hard to put together in a good manner. The process of cutting the video up like I said was also difficult. We had to cut the sound to link to the out lips moving and that was very hard. I hope I get to learn as much as we did on this project for a future one. I would say we definitely learned a lot throughout this project.

We used my iPhone to record the clips and another phone to play music so we can lip-sync. After we got the clips we downloaded them onto my computer. Once we downloaded the clips we looked for an editing software we could use. We ended up using free iMovie software that comes with my MacBook Air. Once we completed all the editing we then uploaded the video to my YouTube account. This was I would say the easiest thing we had to do was uploading the video to youtube. All I had to do was upload the file into youtube and publish it from there. It did take a little time for it to publish because the file was decently sized but it eventually got there. Another thing that did take a little bit of time was sending all the videos to my computer. We had to send them individually through iMessage which did take a while. We tried to find an alternative way but that was our best option. We had a lot of different hardware devices that we used. But overall this project was very fun and I look forward to being doing something like this again.
